Job description, Store Keeper
As a small business, those of us that work here will wear many hats and put them on or take them off each and every day. We are looking for people that can multi-task and be willing to do the following tasks. We will be doing the same list; we would not ask you to do anything we would not do.
- To smile always, show up & leave on time, be honest and be considerate of your team members to make their shift easier.
- To be available when customers are in the store, either behind the counter or on the floor conversing with them.
- To interact with customers offering them product information or food preparation tips.
- To ring in sales through the square system and bag customer’s purchases and serve them items from our bakery case.
- To be wiling to taste and sample new products and new menu selections.
- To “face” the grocery shelves several times a day as needed.
- To refill the coolers and freezers when low.
- To make coffee to refill the self-serve airpots.
- To check the seating areas several times a day to make sure tables are cleaned off.
- To receive merchandise if deliveries arrive in the owners absence.
- To service the restroom rotating the task with other members of our team.
- To keep the store clean and tidy by sweeping or mopping or dusting as needed.
- To watch training videos.
- To participate in a regularly scheduled job review.
- Must be a high school graduate and be able to lift 25 lbs.
